Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellations with Full Refund
To receive a full refund, cancellations must be received by Card the Yard Ottawa at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time.
How to cancel:
The cancellation clock starts when your request is received and confirmed by our team. Refunds are processed through Square and returned to your original payment method. Square refunds typically appear within 2 to 7 business days, though timing may vary depending on your card issuer.
2. Cancellations Within 24 Hours
Cancellations received less than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time are not eligible for a refund. This includes same-day bookings cancelled on the day of the event.
However, we understand that plans can change. If you cancel within 24 hours, we are happy to work with you to rebook your display for a future date, subject to availability.
To arrange a rebooking, contact us by email or phone as early as possible.
3. Weather Policy
Card the Yard Ottawa operates rain or shine. Weather-related cancellation requests are not accepted as a standard reason for refund.
In cases of extreme or dangerous weather conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a delivery at our sole discretion, with the safety of our team and your property in mind. If we initiate a cancellation for safety reasons, you will receive a full refund processed through Square to your original payment method. Refunds typically appear within 2 to 7 business days.
We will contact you directly if a weather-related change to your booking is necessary.
4. Cancellations by Card the Yard Ottawa
In the rare event that we need to cancel your booking due to circumstances on our end (such as equipment issues, staffing emergencies, or safety concerns), you will receive a full refund processed through Square to your original payment method.
